At the beginning of the pandemic, deep in the workout phase, I downloaded a workout app called FitOn. Aubre is one of the instructors I randomly came across and I loved her workouts so much, I just started searching for her videos on the app. This eventually evolved into me tuning into her Instagram lives daily. And now I’m super excited to announce that this Chicago-based instructor’s virtual fitness studio is officially up-and-running! Aubre brings us the very best, most inspiring and uplifting HIIT, barre (& more) workouts with Sweat Sessions! You can sign up for these sessions - which will surely leave you with a smile on your face - by class or choose a monthly or annual membership (us, obvi).

Kira’s latest project, a jewelry company called Made ByKwest, was constructed in the midst of the Pandemic. That’s right, while we were all whipping instant coffee and *trying* to bake the perfect sourdough, Kira put her love of travel and wellness into designing different world collections. Currently, the African Collection is available on her site and keep your eyes peeled for the other six continent collections that she’ll be releasing. Each of Kira’s collections give back to nonprofits, such as Girls Going Global and African Entrepreneur Collective. In addition to designing jewelry, Kira is the co-creator of ACTIV-ISM - an anti-racism wellness program - and launched a website called Biz Recs, connecting you to other mission based small businesses.

Hey babes! My name is Liz and I, like you, am navigating this period of isolation day-by-day. I created this website with the hope that you would come here for a brain break. In no way does that mean that you should come here to be mindless; in fact, I’m aiming for the exact opposite. I hope to pry your minds away from work for a bit, and help you focus on something, anything, else—from a thought provoking article, to my favorite Instagram workouts. While there is no right answer for how to handle everything going on in the world right now, and everyone handles stressful times differently (which is so special!), I thought it may be helpful for some if I compiled things that have helped me (try to) thrive in our new normal.
